  3. *FREEWARE*
  4. ScratchIE is freeware for any use, no restrictions apply. Be sure however to read License.txt
  5. for the license agreement.
  6.  
  7. *REQUIREMENTS*
  8. ScratchIE has been tested on Windows 9x/Me/2000/XP so all that is required is one of those
  9. operating systems. It requires Internet Explorer 5.x or greater.
  10.  
  11. *DESCRIPTION*
  12. ScratchIE is a scratch pad for the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser. It saves text at a 
  13. set interval.
  14.  
  15. *INSTALLATION/UNINSTALLATION*
  16. To install ScratchIE run the file ScratchIEInstall.exe contained in the zip file. To uninstall
  17. ScratchIE go to the Windows Control Panel and use the Add/Remove applet.

  19. *HOW TO USE*
  20. After a successful install you have 2 ways of accessing ScratchIE. The first  is
  21. to use  the menu  (in Internet  Explorer) View  > Explorer  Bar > ScratchIE. The
  22. second  is to  add the  ScratchIE button  to the  toolbar. Right  click on  the
  23. toolbar, select Customize... then scroll down  the list on the left, select  the
  24. ScratchIE icon and add it to the list on the right. Done!
